• Consultation Experience
I first met with the consultant and then the doctor. As soon as he saw my shoulders, he asked, ‘It’s hard to get the shoulder shape you want even with exercise, right?’ lol.
I said yes, and somehow felt called out.
I explained that I did not want huge, Hulk-like shoulders.
I just wanted them to look slightly broader from the front, with a more squared contour and a better fit in short-sleeved shirts.
The doctor examined different parts of my shoulders and shaped the contour with his hands.
Even that small adjustment looked completely different in the mirror—it was exactly the shoulder line I wanted, lol.
The consultation was longer than I expected, around 20 minutes. He did not just take a quick look, decide how many cc to use, and finish; he kept checking the shape from the front, side, and back.
I trusted him when he explained that simply adding more filler is not always better.
We proceeded conservatively with a total of 60cc, tailored to my body shape, with Youngchoon Jung, Head Plastic Surgeon.
I was nervous that it would hurt a lot, but it was almost embarrassingly painless.
The procedure took about 30 minutes, and he repeatedly checked the shape and compared both sides while injecting. I was very happy with the line.
I was extremely pleased with the result! The shoulders kept the same defined shape I get when they are fully pumped after a workout.
When I wear a short-sleeved shirt, the fabric now falls neatly from the ends of my shoulders. My weight and arm circumference are unchanged, but my upper body looks much broader, lol.
• Procedure Result
It has been two weeks, and the filler has settled naturally, as if these were always my shoulders.
Unless I mention it first, people around me do not seem to realize I had filler.
People ask why my shoulders look bigger and assume I have been working out hard, which secretly feels great, lol.
Of course, filler does not build muscle, so I will keep exercising, haha.
I had trained my shoulders for years without achieving the shape I wanted,
so seeing the line appear right after a procedure that took about 30 minutes felt satisfying and a little surreal, lol.
• Additional Comments
If you are considering shoulder filler, I do not think you should focus only on volume figures such as 100cc or 200cc.
What matters most is choosing a doctor who can create a shape that suits your body.
