It has already been six months since I underwent under-eye fat repositioning and non-incisional double-eyelid surgery with Dr. Joobong Kim at HERSHE Plastic Surgery.
Now that about half a year has passed, I usually forget that I even had surgery. In the beginning,

I checked the lines whenever I had the chance and reacted sensitively to even the smallest changes. As time passed, those concerns naturally faded away.
Personally, I am very glad that I chose under-eye fat repositioning.

In the past, people often said I looked much more tired than I actually was because of the shadows under my eyes in photographs.
Now that the under-eye area looks more even, the center of my face appears brighter, and people around me often say that my overall expression looks softer.
Rather than expecting dark circles to disappear completely,

I think it is more realistic to expect the face to look noticeably less tired and the overall impression to become naturally cleaner.
I have seen a noticeable improvement and am satisfied with the result.
The double-eyelid lines have also settled quite steadily. The initially prominent appearance and residual swelling have subsided,

and the result now looks natural enough that people may not realize I had surgery unless I tell them.
The slight asymmetry that was visible during the early stage also became more balanced over time.
Daily life has become much more comfortable. I still avoid rubbing my eyes carelessly, but I no longer feel nervous whenever I wash my face or apply skincare products.
Immediately after surgery, I was even afraid to wash my face. Being able to wash comfortably and continue my daily routine now makes me feel that I have recovered well.
Looking back over the past six months, I have realized that surgical results are not completed overnight. They gradually settle and become more natural with time.
I am pleased with how well I have recovered so far, and I plan to patiently observe any subtle changes that may occur as more time passes. :)
