    • [Gangnam Medical Tourism] HERSHE Plastic Surgery’s Shoulder Filler Column Featured in Medical Tourism Content

A shoulder filler column by HERSHE Plastic Surgery has recently been featured as part of Gangnam Medical Tourism content,

attracting attention from both domestic and international medical tourists.

The column was created to introduce the purpose of shoulder filler treatment,

its design approach, and important considerations during the procedure—reflecting one of the latest K-beauty trends gaining increasing interest.

Recently, the shoulder line has come to be recognized as more than just a body feature.

It is now seen as an important element that can influence the overall balance of the upper body and even a person’s overall impression.

As interest in improving upper-body proportions continues to grow, demand for related treatments has steadily increased.

In particular, as more people look for ways to improve narrow shoulders, drooping shoulders, or rounded shoulder posture to create a more balanced silhouette,

interest in shoulder filler has also continued to rise.

This column introduced HERSHE Plastic Surgery’s signature approach to shoulder filler design.

It emphasized that shoulder filler is not simply about adding volume. Rather, it is important to design the treatment by considering the entire upper-body balance—from

the neck to the shoulders and arms. This requires a personalized approach based on each patient’s body type and skeletal structure.

The column also introduced HERSHE Plastic Surgery’s treatment principles, including performing the procedure in a seated position to more accurately assess the patient’s actual shoulder line, as well as using small, controlled amounts during the injection process to refine the design step by step.

In addition, the clinic’s approach to selecting filler products based on viscosity and product characteristics was also highlighted as part of HERSHE’s treatment philosophy.

Dr. Jung Young Choon, director of HERSHE Plastic Surgery, explained:

“Shoulder filler is not simply about creating volume. It is a design-focused procedure that considers upper-body proportion and silhouette as a whole.

Careful planning after thoroughly analyzing each individual’s body shape and shoulder structure is essential.”

A representative from HERSHE Plastic Surgery also shared:

“We hope that being introduced through this Gangnam Medical Tourism content platform will serve as an opportunity to

introduce international patients to the diverse approaches and possibilities of Korean aesthetic medical care.”
